Exploding cigars! We fix a small explosive charge into the body of a cigar. When the tip of the cigar is lit it ignites a fuse and in a few seconds - Bang!
BRAWNER:
Essentially gentlemen, our brief today is to come up with a list of ways and means to assassinate or destabilize with a view to the permanent excision of Castro and his regime from Cuba -- prior to a full-scale invasion of the island.
"The first I heard about the plot against Castro was in a series of programmes made by the BBC about ten years ago called simply The CIA. I think I heard the idea about the exploding cigar and others and remember laughing out loud and thinking how ludicrous and farcical they were." -- the playwright, Brian Stewart
