From time to time we shift news off the main page to this page, the "Old News" page. We don't edit them, preferring to give you a "warts and all" version of the process that we go through. (For instance, the careful reader will notice that we changed our minds four or five times when deciding on our first show!)

Enjoy this little bit of Deptford History . . .

The Balance of Power reading on October 18 was also a success. Balance of Power is one-act length, and so there was time for lively discussion and socializing after the reading. (10/19/1999)

The Idle Clay reading on October 11th was a success! Quite a few people turned out for our inaugural event, and they were rewarded by hearing a splendid cast read a new play. (10/13/1999)
